With its two rows of seating and spacious cargo area, the XT5 is ideal for many of our local customers. Take advantage of its storage opportunities to keep things organized in the cabin. It comes with some smaller compartments around the seating area and a rear cargo hold with a volume of 30 cubic feet. You can expand your cargo capacity to 63 cubic feet by lowering the rear seats down.
The cabin of the XT5 is set up with power-adjustable front seats, and the driver's seat and power-adjustable steering column can remember your preferred position. To keep you cozy, every new XT5 has heated front seats that offer three levels of warmth. The automatic climate control system can turn the seats' heating elements on and off. Recognizing that people have different preferences regarding temperature, Cadillac has given the XT5 multiple zones as part of this system. Some models have two zones, while others have three. Available front-seat ventilation can keep you cooler in the summer, and it, too, has three levels to choose from. Semi-aniline leather seats with Chevron-perforated inserts are also offered, along with a heated steering wheel and heated rear seats.
Cadillac has equipped the XT5 with a comprehensive technology package. It includes an eight-inch color touchscreen and Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Wi-Fi capability. With these features, you can stay connected while traveling around town, and you and your passengers can find programs and radio stations to keep you entertained. A Bose speaker system will ensure high audio quality. It has eight speakers on the lower models and 14 on the higher ones. You'll also benefit from stainless steel Cadillac speaker grille covers if you get the upgraded sound .
Technology not only helps with entertainment and convenience, but it also can keep you safe in the XT5. Every new XT5 comes standard with emergency braking, multiple monitors, and other mitigation systems. This can be very reassuring to know as you head out each day. If you don't notice a problem, this SUV can alert you to potential safety concerns and brake and steer for you whenever appropriate.
Performance has played a major role in the XT5's success in the market. It's available with two impressive engines. The standard engine, a turbocharged 2.0-liter version that makes 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, lets you have some fun behind the wheel. The other engine powers the Sport trim. It's a 3.6-liter V6 that generates 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. You might consider this larger engine if you like pushing the limits while driving. Note that the V6 comes standard with all-wheel drive while the other engine can be paired with front- or all-wheel drive. Also, Cadillac has given every new XT5 a nine-speed automatic transmission.
Some other enhancements found in the Sport trim include Brembo performance front brakes with red calipers and 20-inch 12-spoke alloy wheels. This trim is intended to appeal to performance-oriented customers. The Premium Luxury and Luxury are the other available trims, and since they showcase amazing technology and refined cabins, they could be excellent choices, too.
